We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them. For the purposes of these laws, OGEN Infosystem is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

02Personal Data We Collect

  • Contact details you give us through forms, email, phone or WhatsApp — such as name, email address, phone number, company name, website address and your message.
  • Project information — requirements, content, logins and files you share so we can deliver a project.
  • Billing details — billing name, address and GST number. Card and bank payments are processed by banks or payment gateways; we do not store your card details.
  • Usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, time spent and the referring website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

03How We Use Your Data

  • to reply to your enquiry and send proposals or quotations you ask for;
  • to plan, deliver, support and bill for the services you buy;
  • to keep our website and services secure and working properly;
  • to understand how visitors use our website and improve it;
  • to send you updates or offers, only where you have agreed — you can opt out at any time;
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

05Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tools, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to measure traffic, understand which pages are useful and measure our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.

06Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

  • service providers who help us run our business — hosting, email, analytics, payment and communication tools — and who must protect it;
  • government authorities or courts, when required by law;
  • a buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised or transferred, under the same protections.

07Data in Projects We Build

When we build or maintain a website or software that holds personal data of your customers or staff, we handle that data only on your instructions and only to provide the Services. In that role you are responsible for having a valid basis to collect it and for your own privacy notice.

08How Long We Keep Data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, for our ongoing relationship with you, or as required by tax and other laws. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

09How We Protect Data

We use reasonable security practices — access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited staff access and secure hosting — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will act promptly and notify you and the authorities where the law requires.

10Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it, where we no longer need it or are not required to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf;
  • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.

To use these rights, email info@ogeninfo.com. We may ask you to verify your identity.

11Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

12Data Stored Outside India

Some of our service providers, such as email or cloud hosting, may store data on servers outside India. We transfer data only as permitted by Indian law and with providers who protect it appropriately.

13Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint and try to resolve it within 30 days.
